Sustainable Materials
We prioritize sustainability by using 100% mechanically recycled PET as the main material for our ECO collections.This eco-friendly process transforms used drinking bottles into high-quality fabric, reducing environmental impact without compromising on quality, durability, or style.Recycling PET bottles offers key benefits like conserving resources, reducing waste, and lowering CO2 emissions by over 50% compared to virgin polyester. This process prevents plastics from polluting landfills and oceans, where they take centuries to degrade. DICOTA ensures its suppliers follow theGlobal Recycled Standards for responsible practices and chemical usage throughout production.Currently, over 95% of DICOTA’s product range is made from recycled materials, giving new life to 6–45 bottles per product. Since launching the ECO Products line, DICOTA has repurposed more than 12 million PET bottles into over one million high-quality, sustainable carrying solutions.
Careful Use of Resources
At DICOTA, we prioritize recycled materials, waste reduction, and energy-efficient designs for products and packaging, minimizing transportation impacts by optimizing weight, volume, and routes. All materials comply with REACH regulations and are screened for harmful substances like PVC. Since 2011, compliance has been ensured through ongoing, independent laboratory analyses and strict on-site inspections by our Hong Kong team. Through BellandVision, we support sustainable packaging recycling, enabling customers to responsibly dispose of packaging free of charge. Our annual EnvironmentCertificate highlights the energy savings and greenhouse gasreductions achieved through consistent recycling. For marketing and office materials, we use FSC-certifiedpaper to promote responsible forestry, reduce pollution, andprevent deforestation.
